Helen holds a B.Tech. degree from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Nigeria, an M.Sc. degree from the University of Leicester, England and an MBA in Marketing & Finance degree from Rice University, Houston, Texas.

Before joining MWA in August 2023, Helen worked in the financial services industry where she served as the Divisional Head of Retail at ASO Savings & Loans bank which involved managing the Bank’s retail, real estate and mortgage portfolio; she also provided strategic direction and coordinated team leadership for the bank wide sales and marketing teams of the Bank. Helen’s role was later expanded to oversee the Remedial unit as well as the Operations & Technology division.  Prior to Finance, Helen has over 15 years of experience in marketing and has worked in various leadership roles such as, Head of Corporate Management at ASO Bank, Account Director at Epsilon and Management Supervisor at Rapp Collins Worldwide, Dallas Texas.

Outside of work, Helen loves spending time with her family. Her hobby includes baking and making homemade & therapeutic soaps, lotions and herbal oils.
