WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

As an industry, we sell trust, integrity, and wisdom. However, there are firms who give financial advice that focuses on benefiting the firm more than the client. We are not one of those firms. Mills Wealth Advisors is a boutique firm that strives to build strong relationships with clients and serve their needs first. We are able to do this by giving ideas based on known facts with the clients best interest in mind.

Our Southlake-based financial management team is committed to building strong personal relationships with each of our clients. With decades of wealth management and financial planning experience, our team has earned a reputation for sound judgment, independent thinking, and integrity. We believe that educating our clients to implement plans with some of the best products and strategies will assist them in reaching both their short- and long-term goals.

Below are some ways in which we are different:

A trusted financial advisor who uses best practices for wealth management has an impact on a client’s long term wealth accumulation.  For more information, see www.vanguard.com/pdf/ISGQVAA.pdf

We are not affiliated with large brokerage firms or banks, so we are not required to sell specific investment products. We don’t accept money from third parties who want us to sell their products. We sell only what we believe are best-in-class investments.

We are registered and regulated by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.  We work directly for our clients and put them first at all times.  We are held to a fiduciary standard that requires us to act in our client’s best interests and to provide full disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

At MWA, we strive to provide our clients with a lower TOTAL cost, both seen and unseen, for the investments we offer. By being able to pool clients’ money together we have the ability to invest in private market opportunities usually reserved for institutional investors. These allow accredited investors access to high-quality, cost-effective investments. At MWA, we integrate planning, protecting, and investing to lengthen a client’s investment time horizon, effectively reducing the client’s taxes.

When data is published openly and disclosed freely without the intent to deceive, investors win. Unfortunately, transparency often hurts profitability, but at MWA, we feel it is the only way to operate regarding the investments we offer our clients.

We’ve been in business long enough to see the effects of fear and greed that take their toll on individuals’ financial investments. Human emotion is the number one reason people fail in investing. With over 30 years of investment experience, we’ve acquired wisdom through expensive gains and losses.
