Jim Davis, CFP®, is a Financial Planner with Mills Wealth Advisors and is passionate about serving and walking alongside his clients as they accomplish their personal and professional goals. Jim’s primary mission as a planner is to help simplify the complexities that are associated with building wealth, and to bridge the gap between his clients’ resources and the goals they have for themselves and their loved ones.

Prior to joining MWA in 2020, Jim worked for Fidelity Investments and Tolleson Wealth Management in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex. Throughout his career in financial services, Jim has helped individuals, families, and business owners navigate through a wide range of issues impacting their financial lives, including investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, debt management, and insurance. Left alone, each of these elements can significantly alter one’s financial future, but when brought together into a comprehensive, goal-based plan, Jim believes clients can achieve a much greater probabilities of success.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Jim volunteers with Family Reach and Pathfinders as a financial planner and coach. Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to eradicating the financial barriers that accompany a cancer diagnosis, and Pathfinders is a local 501(c)(3) helping individuals and families find their path from poverty to self-sufficiency.

Jim graduated with an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Abilene Christian University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. In his time away from work, you can find Jim spending time with his wife, Pyper, and their two boys, reading, listening to podcasts, enjoying the outdoors, skiing, and traveling. Jim and his family are members of The Hills Church in Fort Worth and are actively involved in the local community.
